Homebrewer turned Researcher

As a homebrewer, I was excited about the opportunity to work at ABI's Beer Garage in Mountain View and it has been a great experience.  I've had the opportunity to not only apply business concepts learned in the UC Berkeley Haas MBA program, but also pursue some of my own interests while doing so.
My time at the Beer Garage has primarily focused on identifying where Artificial Intelligence can be applied within ABI.  I've looked at how machine learning, computer vision, or NLP can be used in order to solve specific ABI business challenges and/or increase efficiencies.  Having the freedom to look across a number of business functions, whether it's Sales & Marketing, Supply & Logistics, or Finance & Solutions, has allowed me to engage with a number of different stakeholders throughout a truly global organization.  I've also been able to utilize my interest in graphic design and videography to help create new content for the Beer Garage's website launch.  I look forward to seeing how our work this summer progresses throughout the rest of the year.
